So many great things on view during Westweek! Today, in no particular order, I present my booty (get your minds out of the gutter…)
The Pierre Frey event at Kneedler-Fauchere was extremely interesting. Pierre-Laurent Thierry did not disappoint as he walked us through a collection of fantastical, hand painted original fabric designs from the company’s archives dating from 1935 to 1955.
Sadly, I couldn’t get a decent shot of any of the patterns (too much glare off of the glass left me with a series of pictures of me squinting in exasperation). Rather than leave you high and dry, I thought I’d show you some of my faves from Pierre Frey’s collection. These images just give you a taste – I highly recommend you go and see them for yourself.
