Shopping on Almont Drive

Yesterday, after having my mind blown by the Malick Sidibe show, Kate and I hit up the shops in Almont Yard looking for some goodies for clients. I am here to report that pretty things abound in that little commune of stores! First stop, Nathan Turner’s lovely store, where we spied these divine photographs by Oberto Gili. I love the simplicity of the images and the whole cycle of life thing…

Next up was Harbinger, which is actually comprised of two different shops. The first is home base for the interior design firm, Lucas Studio, and full of swank, one of a kind vintage pieces. These folks really have style coming out of their ears. Check out this rustic chic tablescape and groovy sort of African boho room setting:
