Aw yeah… Those were my first thoughts when I saw the amazing accessories and lighting from the dynamite interior design brain of Michelle Nussbaumer. I can’t get enough of these divine “Splendoras.” They feel like a modern take on a Mexican folk art cross – minus the religion and plus a little sexy. No doubt, Ms. Nussbaumer has been influenced by the treasures of the deeply chic Mexican town of San Miguel de Allende, where she is lucky enough to be working on a project.

1st Dibs

A while back, I asked you all what you were looking at now that so many shelter mags have gone under. I have been keeping my eyes peeled in an ongoing search for outlets with interesting content and inspiring photography, and this morning I found one right under my nose. As I was searching 1st Dibs for furniture ideas for a client, I hit the wrong button and ended up on their homepage. Let me tell you, people, a treasure trove awaits you!

Their online Introspective Magazine is full of beautiful photographs and is very easy to navigate. There are tons of great articles (both current and past) in the Style Compass section, which reads like a who’s who of the most interesting and influential designers working today. The current article is on Nicholas Manville, the “style czar” of Bergdorf Goodman’s magical 7th floor. How chic!

God Bless Bergdorf’s

I had an absolutely lovely afternoon there on Monday. It all starting of with a boozy lunch (that rare treat) in the beautiful BG Restaurant designed by Kelly Wearstler. Imagine me perched here sipping a glass of rosé with some chic friends (rosé in the winter? I can’t imagine anything better In this room decked out in Ladurée macaroon colors…)
